I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of this museum. There is a wonderful exhibit on tea. The contents of an ancient tomb. The only problem is there could be a bit more English. Still one of the better museums I've seen in China.

To be honest, I did not expect this museum is such well organized, although I read about the "bian zhong" many years ago. The exhibition of Zeng Hou Yi was astonishingly magnificant and beautiful....Mind blowing to think about the techniques 2500 years ago to make...More

This is a great museum, with lots to see. I wish we could have spent more time there. There is so much to see. You have to see the Bell performance.

This museum covers the cultural history of the region around Wuhan. Starting with the early ancestors of modern humans (Homo erectus, etc.) through at least the 1911 revolution (that ended the last imperial dynasty). Artifacts abound from skulls of these early men and their rough...More

You can cover the museum in about an hour and is well worth the visit especially the open ancient tomb with a body so well preserved the skin and internal organs are all still there. The gift shop has many interesting things for sale.
