I was thinking Lake Tahoe but no, it's just a large body of water, not too terribly well maintained, so it kind of takes away how nice it could be. I really made an effort to go there, but afterwards, meh

A place to chill in wuhan. definitely worth it to rent a bike. Taje care of moskito as every lake place in china. Better to go in the end of afternoon for avoiding pollution

If you’re staying at the Wanda then it’s worth having an early morning walk and enjoy local people walking fishing and performing Tai Chi. Great trails and easy to undertake

We were brought here as part of a tour, but I would not call it a touristy spot. It was more like a lovely park area with a huge lake you could walk or jog around. We wandered around the park for a while and...More

I would say that East Lake is the symbol of Wuhan and one of the reason triggering city's development. It's a nice place to go and just calm your mind. Especially, early in the morning!

We went to this lake immediately after getting off the train from Shanghai. While the park is large and lots of walkable space there was a food concession at the inside entrance that would never pass a food inspection if the inspector was blind. As...More

I guess if you live in China in the apartments you see all around you, you would love to come to this park. But to come here on a tour, well, not that great. Perhaps I am just jaded, yes it is somewhat peaceful here...More

First ask for directions at reception desk of your hotel written in Chinese to go to East Lake. Show this the taxi driver. We took a taxi from our hotel (Howard Johnson) which braught us to the East Lake park entrance north... More
