Well set out, this park provided a brief glimpse of the wonders of the Anhui province. We spent a day walking around the park and visiting each of the 'created' areas that showcase the uniquiness of the region. Cleverly arranged with clearly marked signage, the park provides something for everything and is certainly worth a visit.

Visited there multiple times in order to see the beautiful pagoda and the statue in the middle of the garden! Many flowers were grown here from lilies to yellow flowers.

Huiyuan Garden is a not a big park, but it is surely a beautiful place to get a taste of different aspects of the local history and culture.
In addition to the beautiful vegetation and traditional buildings, one also experiences the contrast with the ever expanding modern China around.
Inside the park, there is also a jade museum featuring wonderful ancient sculptures in that semi-precious stone. Even more incredible for their precision and intricacy with rather rough tools.

This is a park that summarize all the major places in Anhui province. It gives you information on each city and its own culture/history. An excellent park to know Anhui without going to each city.
