35 km from Punta Arenas. The first kms were along the Street of Magellan, at the border of which grew a whole bunch of colourful lupines. So beautiful! A gravel road at the right side lead to the laguna. Entry fee : 5000 clp pp....More

The trails around this simple camping and picnic area flow through stunted beech forest laden with moss, both underfoot and overhead. One expects a Hobbit or an Elf to appear but instead, Austral Parakeets and Great Grebes are spotted.

Trekking is easy here along signaled paths. The lake is very beautiful and there is plenty of space for a picnic.
