I believe that I'm correct when I say that Wat Preah Ang Sang Tuk and Wat Preah Prom Rath are on the same property. Unfortunately, my notes don't say for sure. That being said, it was not crowded at all, and it had lovely carvings in a lovely setting. One of my favorites in Siem Reap.

I am sorry to write that there has been a misunderstanding in most of the previous reviews and photos as this Temple is not situated in the city center.
Nor does it shows a golden boat.
The Temple referred to (in the city center and with a golden boat) is Wat Preah Prom Rath (which I have also reviewed).

This Temple, Wat Preah Ang Sang Tuk, is a Buddhist Temple, rather modern and not impressive at all.
It is neither a Khmer Temple or an archeological attraction, although it is situated in the Angkor Tom area, not far from Baphuon Temple, around 500 meters west of the Terrace of the Elephants.

Now is it worth your time?
I don't believe, unless you are more than one week at Siam Reap and have plenty of time left...
And even then i would find many other attractions to visit, markets to do some shopping there, or simply have a massage or a cup of coffee in pub street.

This is a great temple with great gardens and many displays of statues in the grounds.... and then the large buddah inside. I recommend having a look on the way to Pub street, which is close.

Really nice to drop into. In the city centre, maybe takes about half an hour to look round. There is some construction work around currently, but it doesn’t hinder anything. Beautiful and glad we went!

This little temple is quite pretty and colourful. It's located near the city centre, so travellers can easily drop by for about 10-15 mins...one wont need more time than that.

...with lots of things to see. I only saw tourists here which gave me pause to think. I believe it's also part of a university that teaches monks. Lots of colorful Buddhas here which seem different than other ones I've seen in different parts of Asia.
