Apparently this is meant to be one of the most photographed parts of a the Angkor complex , personally can’t see it , i mean its ok but nothing that special compared to the other Wat’s

The 350 meters long walk and saw many carving on the wall many elephants. This is the part of Angkor thom and behind of this terrace there are two temples, one you can climb and other one you can't.

-easiest if you are driven from one end to other- or get out and walk sections - Angkor Wat itself has carvings like this, but on a massive scale

A part of Angkor Thom next to Terrace of the leper King in the royal palace square. Many elephant carvings on the stones. Few minuets enough to pass to the next.

I went in early December and it was hot. I needed an electric fan! But the Khmer people were wearing windbreakers and jackets... we tourists were dressed in summer gear. Bring a hat and sunglasses!
