If you have some cash to spare, spend it here on goods made by local artists and crafts people. Some beautiful work and not as frantic as places like the Old Market. No one is hassling you to buy, but the quality is much better.

We went to the place in the mid-afternoon. There was nothing going on at the time and most of the shops are close. It does not look very interesting. I don't know what happens in the evening.

Over the river from the town market,has a very nice atmosphere,not to much hassle,great range of stalls lots of jewelry,bags,clothes and gifts,places to eat and drink and live music most evenings,great to look and shop.

If you want locally made unique items this is the place to go. Another benefit is that your helping .the local economy. Great gifts for back home. Highly recommend.

I found them at different rates in different stalls - from $10 to $30. But the rate does depend on the design
