Like the art market as they had a lot of different souvenirs for sale. There is a man at the back that hand paints a lot of tshirts with angkor temples and other prints onto nice quality t shirts, he is worth a look. Some really beautiful art too. Several stalls with incredible pieces to look at.

I'd like to clear up a bit of confusion. There is a place called the night market which has apparently lost its vibrancy. I had seen the Art Market on the google map and asked our tuk tuk driver about it. He called it the New night market, but knew its location. So if unclear, be sure to specify the one over the river from the Big Market. This is pretty much a clone of the souvenir section of the Big market. We weren't there long as our shopping was finished but it appeared to have more shops. It's open in the evenings which is good for cooler shopping. To get there on foot go to the river bridge at the SE corner of the big market. It's across the river and South a short way. Can't miss it. I've given it a 5 because I just love these souvenir markets, you never know you might run across a hidden treasure. Haggle, haggle, haggle, state your bottom price and walk away. Maybe you can get a good deal. Enjoy!

I strolled around the night market of Siem Reap Art Center where you can find a lot of merchandise to buy such as souvenir items, silk shawls, art decorations, clothes, and many others.

Remember to haggle less than half the price of the item and if the seller refused, you can always walk away and look for other merchants with similar items who can sell it for a cheaper price, act stubbornly to get the price you prefer.

Remember to haggle, you can always get what you want for at least a third of the price - walk away and go to the next stand.
If you’re stubborn you will get things for the price you want ❤️

We visited this market a few times whilst in Siem Reap. It’s actually one of the better markets in Siem Reap. I wouldn’t really say it’s an art market but there’s some good art stalls in with all the other stalls selling all the other bits and pieces. I actually picked up a few good paintings

Most people fo the Psar Char - the old market but do wander across the river to the Art Market.

Prices are much better there, less crowds and better service.

Visit Monyrasom at 11G for your purchases. I always drop in and buy something there.

His prices are excellent and the range of goods is always extensive for Kromas, t-shirts and other Cambodian knick knacks.

He is most friendly and welcomes you like a long lost friend as they all do in the Art Market.

Siem Reap Art Center Night Market is held just southeast of the Old Market immediately acdross the Siem Reap River. The market opened in 2011 and is basically an extension of the Old Market with an expected flux of souvenir, silk, art and related shops for foreign tourists. The market opens around 4pm until 11pm daily.

We browsed through the Siem Reap Art Centre during our recent visit to Siem Reap. Stalls were selling quite similar items to what we were seeing in the Old Market on the other side of the river. There were a handful of actual art stalls in the back of the market, some decent works were available for purchase.

Nice market next to the river. Big and plenty of choices. I found the sellers not very pushy which is great!

Few massage places inside too.

Of course as with most markets in Cambodia, you have to bargain hard, and you shall be rewarded.

Worth a visit if you are nearby.

Must be visited for souvenirs. Adjacent to pub street. Spend some time there. Old market is also nearby which is good for street food.
