If you've come to visit Angor Wat (and who doesn't if they're coming to Siem Reap) make sure you ad Angkor Thom to your must list. It was more beautiful and less crowded and you can even ride an elephant for 11 minutes for $20.

This is one of the main temples on the tourist route. There are lots of them. Angkor Thom is a little different due to the forest trees intertwining some of the buildings

This was the last temple on our tour. Never the less it was one of our favorites. A dream temple for photographers as it offers endless opportunities.

Sorry, we travelled from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap and then crossed the border into Thailand at Poipet, so we didn't visit the south of Cambodia.

Angkor Thom is actually a walled area where other temples are located within. You can take photos of the entrance gates but their isn't technically an Angkor Thom temple.
