We weren't aware that this temple was supposed to be closed. We walked in a side entrance and showed ourselves around the grounds. No one seemed to care. It was interesting to look at the buildings and construction process. We didn't try to go in...More

I visited Wat Bo temple in April but it is all closed for renovation. Looks like it will take awhile. Off the beaten track. It seems some other reviewers have got confused with Wat Preah Prom Rath temple.

Beautiful temple area to wander though and enjoy murals, statues and solitude right in downtown Siem Reap.

I tried to visit in early March 2018 and it is closed for renovation. It looks really major work so I am guessing that it will take a few months before it reopens.

Main Temple with wall painting still under renovation. Doors are locked, but we managed to get it opened by one monk after searching the right person. All the young monks were busy with their phones, some taking selfies, and did not even see me for...More

Small temple in the middle of the city with monks going about their day. You can sit and meditate in one of the rooms. Interesting architecture and history.

This was a bit of a bonus visit as we had time to fill in before our flight so as this temple was a $2 tuk tuk ride from the hotel, we decided to visit. The monastery grounds were great to walk around and some...More
