Went to St John’s Catholic Church on 22 Dec 2019. We didn’t research before hand that the only English mass was held on Saturday (Sunset Mass) and the only Sunday mass was in Khmer language and at 6.30am. Nonetheless, after lunching at Khmer Taste at Soksan Road, we took a tuk tuk here. We like this church architecture more than St Joseph’s Church in Phnom Penh a week ago. May be because St John was built as a church and St Joseph’s Church was a school-converted-to Church? It was like a wooden hut. The lady who worked in the Church’s gift shop that day came and asked us where we were from? She sounded like she was from Singapore or Malaysia. The Christmas decor was simple, yet nice. We had to take off our shoes before we entered the church. Just like St Joseph’s, everywhere was mats, no benches.
