The War Remnant Museum is a museum and a center that provides education/training and support for dozens of at-risk people and landmine survivors. The War Remnant Museum was created so that it might serve as a place of healing for bodies, hearts and minds. We believe that love, support and education and teaching new skills will help secure a better opportunity in life.

Not worth the money... unless you wish to see old guns,tanks, artillery etc. No one came to offer us a tour and for $10 each a royal rip off... don’t bother, buy a book and you will learn way more.More

The tour guide is a former Khmer Rouge soldier, and he is completely open and honest talking about his experience. I spent an hour listening to him, but I could easily have spent five. Absolutely worth doing.More

Definitely worth a stop. The personal touch of the guide’s war experience make this a must see while in Seim Reap. If you come with an open mind you will take a lot out.

This not a fancy big museum with big marmor halls, this is something more. The museum buildings, shells, mines and looks quite poor at the start, but good guide is the thing in hear. You can hear real stories from war veterans and understand that...More

For only 5$ you can hear honest and terrifying story about Khmer Rouge. This project is run by local community which supports local people to learn english. Everybody should know at least something about moved history of Cambodia when visiting this country.
