A random grouping of us were given a tour and I found it fascinating. The history behind the convent is fascinating. Beautiful views from the roof too. Well worth a visit.

We visited on the day that museums were free, and there were lots of school trips, so it was a bit crowded. The guides were well informed, and there are a lot of explanatory panels showing the restoration photoes.

It was an interesting tour and imagining the inside life of the nuns. The museum is beautifully restored. I think the guide said they been working with the restoration about 5 years and just finished 2 weeks ago.

The web site says they are open on Monday, but they are not. We went today (Monday) and they were gracious enough to let us in and also provided a guide. The convent is still active, but it is shut off from the museum. The...More

Very beautiful interior. I especially enjoyed the doors, windows, walls, hallways -- moreso than the art and statues. The tour was in Spanish but we managed to communicate the essentials. Times listed may not be right. I sat in the park and waited. The weather...More

This is a place where the walls speak of history. The building is absolutely beautiful. Our guide was knowledgeable and very gracious when I missed a bit of Spanish. The tour was well organized and led us through unused (and deeply moving) parts of the...More

One of few historical buildings in Cochabamba, so kind of must see while staying in the city. The convent is interesting for those, who have never seen this kind of places. Othervise, it's nothing special. When I visited it, the most important part (the Church...More
