My family really enjoyed the visit. We ended up being given an English tour and the tour was informative. The place is a bit dusty and doesn’t have the best signs, but has some interesting artifacts. I enjoyed my visit and would visit again.

This museum was small but packed with interesting exhibits. Everything from dinosaur bones to real mummies!! We spent a few hours here one afternoon and definitely recommend it to anyone interested in archeology.

This little museum has an ambitious scope - the inhabitants of Bolivia from paleoindian times to the colonial era. While explanations are basic,t hey are good, but nothing in English.. Also, the quality of the artifacts/displays does not compare to other cities' museums. Not really...More

Interesting to learn about pre-Inca and Inca history, very similar with the free museum in Tarija. Halloweenlike skulls and mummies. Costs 20bs pp.

A nice museum with diverse materials starting from dinosaurs till Incas. Lots of pottery, tools, several mummies, deformed skulls, fossils, dinosaur bones etc. Everything is in Spanish, the day I went there was no guide available. Entrance is 25 BOB. Liked it!

The building used to be the National Central Bank of Bolivia....even one of the bank´s vault have an Inca´s Chullpa....is a small museum but it has awesome things to see...and learn about the quecha and inca culture in this area
