This trip is a must-do. Beautiful views all the way up. Plus, the steam train features in ‘The Sound of Music’! That only runs on special occasions, though. Mostly it’s a modern engine.

You won‘t complete your journey to Wolfgang lake without going up to the peak here. You can walk up and/or down too. The tram will stop being operated during winter (only during Advent for a week or so). Please check the schedule before. The ride...More
