The new Vietnam Exhibit is excellent. Great artifacts on display from local veterans. The Vietnam Wall and Huey Helicopter were great.

I was here five years ago and thought the exhibits were very old and tired - I returned yesterday and find many of the same items that were there before, but with new presentation materials and settings, thus making for a greatly improved museum experience....More

It is laid out is multiple buildings that are not child friendly. The labels read like a tribute to the donor but tells nothing of the object. There really isn't any exhibits but buildings full of collections that are not cared for to a high...More

Very interesting history for everyone to see. We went during the fair. It was a good time. Doesn't coat anything to get in. You can go from building to building. Read all all the old photos, and old memorabilia.

The historical society is hidden away on the fair grounds. The collections are stored in multiple buildings that are not climate controlled. While there is a lot to see the labels are out of date. The labels read more of a tribute to the person...More

I grew up in Mower County but there is SO much I never knew! Our guide was terrific and just as enthusiastic as we were. My brothers and I had a great time and will likely be back with our families in the future.

The Mower County Historical Society is a fun place to wander through - and there is so much to see! The complex includes something like 16 separate themed buildings and outdoor exhibits, and each one is packed with interesting artifacts. I love the newest exhibit,...More
