This souk is a bunch of lanes with shops selling typical Dubai things like spices, incense, souvenirs, shawls, decorative glassware, perfumes, clothes and so on. Textile souk is just a small part of this whole area. It's smaller than the Gold Souk in Deira, but...More

Across from Dubai Creek. Basically an alley of shops with very talkative vendors determined to get you into the shops so they can encourage you to buy. Literally every shop is identical but the prices will vary. As the name suggests this is a textile...More

I’d avoid this souk if possible. The gold, old and spice souk were decent but the vendors here are just too aggressive. You don’t need this hassle. Take the abra for 1AED and head to the Old Deira Abra Station and it will be much...More

We went through the Textile Souk as part of a Dubai Walking Tour. It's literally just a long lane near the old part of Dubai, It's pretty hectic, be prepared for a lot of haggling and in your face stall holders. We picked up a...More

It is a place where you can buy souvenirs (especially scarves) at good prices, but unfortunately it is hard to bargain and you need time to reach a normal price. If you do not have enough patience you can end up being fooled by paying...More

A wonderful experience unless you’re adverse to very aggressive sales people at the various stalls. It didn’t bother us. Fascinating display of goods. However, the sales tactics can be overbearing to some as sales people drape you with clothe and use every gimmick to get...More

Most of what is here is cheaply massed produced textiles from China. Even so, it’s beautiful to see displayed and other, more unusual things can be found from neighboring countries. You have to have an ability to say NO to the myriad vendors who will...More

One of the common souks in UAE. Place is very common and quite small place. Starting with Bastakia area surrounded with Abra journey and Dubai museum. It’s part of old Dubai trading. Just good place to look and do small shopping. Oil perfumes, saffron tea...More

If you don't like people pushy salesmen, you may not like this area. However, if just walk by or say you are not interested and keep walking that normally is good enough. We stopped at The Pashmina House because I saw a recommendation online. We...More

You'd probably find plenty here to be honest. There wasn't just textiles, there were lots of souvenir kinds of things. There was even a spice shop just in the middle of it all.
