Best place to a fresher (Beginner)

Al Satwa is known as one of the notorious street which is located in Dubai. There are plenty of Restaurants, Apparel shops, Communications and Markets. However, accommodation for couples and Families were used to be excessive. Overall this street is safe, moderate crowded and cheap. Finally, I advocate this place to Job Seekers and Solos.

This is a busy district in Dubai, between Sheikh Zayed Road and Jumeirah.

There are lots of interesting shops and restaurants - all offering much lower prices than elsewhere in Dubai.

A fun district.

Satwa is full of hustle and bustle and life.

There are multiple shops, mosques and life of all kinds going on. Prices are generally much cheaper here than in the more touristic parts of the city.

It is very different from other parts of the city and well worth a look.

Satwa is full of hustle and bustle.

There are shops selling everything you can think of for good prices and lots of interesting restaurants.

It’s always teeming with life and also boasts some very good street art painted on the sides of buildings.

A good place to see a different side of life in Dubai.

Satwa is located one block behind the towering skyscrapers on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, but seems to be in a different time period altogether. As soon as one enters, one can see narrow streets, plenty of crowd, numerous small stores and lots of life, something that is reminiscent of back home.

That said, from the tourist point of view, there is nothing much to do here. Some buildings have some beautiful artworks done by artists. Residents largely visit here for shopping or for repairing watches, clothes, footwear etc; services which one doesn't get in too many other parts of Dubai. The Satwa Mosque is an impressive sight from outside, but there's little else here.

Streets crowded with multinational shoppers and strollers only 1 km from the expensive hotels and residential blocks of Sheikh Zayed Road and less than 1 km from the expensive Jumierah Villas.
Here one can find quick and cheap car repairs, buttons and zips, fabrics, tailors, discount stores, shoe repairs, mobile phone shops and supermarkets which cater for customers more interested in value than presentation.
Bars are fairly plentiful (but prices suggest that the owners think that they are on the Sheikh Zayed Road) and vast choice of restaurants.
Street side eateries spill out onto the pavement and pedestrians spill out onto the road.
A world away from the image of Dubai.

Al Satwa is an interesting area of Dubai. There are lots of tailors in this area so you can get clothes copied or buy material. There are a variety of Philipinno restaurants. Good Pakistani restaurants including Karach Durbar which is very good. They have lots of ovens where you can buy Iranian bread, Afghani, Indian and Pakistani bread.

Great to walk around and explore some of the lesser known areas of Dubai. Different types of shops all around, great if you want to buys fabric ..it is more of a local souq kind of place.
