DON'T GO THERE, they cheated us. First they made us talking and talking while we were paying, so that I realized after the transaction with credit card that they put a sum of 300 AED instead of 35 AED. They didn't wanted to cancel it...More

Old souk/market is made up of a few lanes with shops selling typical Dubai things like spices, incense, souvenirs, shawls, decorative glassware, perfumes, and so on. It's smaller than the Gold Souk, but there's variety of things other than gold. But overall, it's not worth...More

Old Souk is great - smaller old style shops and vendors. BUT be ready to be asked a million times if you want this that or the other, and of course to bargain. But a real place in a land of makebelieve

Can not stand this place. You can not walk or meander in peace without someone constantly approaching you. It's just constant, and even when you say no - they walk along side you as if what you said doesn't matter. For a more civilized souk...More

We came here expecting to see something different rather than all of the luxuries Dubai has to offer. There’s nothing wrong with Dubai at all and in fact it is gorgeous but we wanted to see something different. It was indeed different. Be ready to...More

We had a rental car the entire time we were in UAE. They had free gps without having to use the data on your cell phone so it was very easy to het around.
