The Burj Al Arab tops the charts for the most opulent hotel in the world.
Upon arrival, the extraordinarily tall and friendly doorman greets you with a pleasant smile and warm welcome. Once inside the beautiful lobby, you are treated to Dates and Arabic coffee while checking into the hotel. We were escorted to suite #1905 when the check-in process was complete. The suites are ultra plush and exceed all expectations. The attention to detail and touches of gold architectural design are superior luxury at its finest. The suites don Hermes toiletries for your pampering pleasure. Silk robes, slippers, and Dyson hairdryers are just a few of the lavish room amenities. Our butler provided the highest level of prompt hospitality one could ask for. The fantastic staff at Sal spoiled us on our pool day. It never rains in Dubai, but it rained on us. The staff was attentive to helping us get our things to a dry area and then promptly changed the chaise lounge towels when the rain stopped so we could return to our chairs. We indulged in the Signature Gold Cappuccino, a fanciful and unique experience. Each morning, we had the breakfast buffet, which was exceptional, almost overwhelming, with all the choices. The mornings were somewhat chilly, but no fear, the remarkable staff provided pashminas for the ladies to keep warm while enjoying breakfast. I highly recommend this resort to anyone traveling to Dubai who has a taste for grandeur and richness.

We never stayed at the hotel we only did the tour. Min stay i belive is $1800 per night and most expensive room comes at a price tag of $54k per night. The tour was a great way of seeing the part of the hotel. They show you two different types of rooms and they pass you by the lobby very quick. No cameras allowed to not disturn their guess. It was a good experience, would not do it again. The rooms are increible. The tour itself your being watch like a wilderbeast by lion. Must be in a straight line and connot got go left or right. Just straight. Again this was just for the tour I did not stay.

The Burj al Arab is one of the iconic hotels of the world, 320 m tall in form of a giant sail, billing itself as the only 7 star hotel in the world. Getting into the lobby and watching the limousines outside the main entrance, you can see why. Unless you have around EUR 1600 per night of spare change, you will most likely not stay there, but the various restaurants are open to the public, and there is also a guided tour....

We had the best best best time possible at the Burj

We have often stayed there but this time was beyond everything we experienced so far

Starting from the beginning - Mrs Iryna Hoell was as usual super helpful with all the details of our booking

She always got back to us shortly and find the perfect booking for us

Even changes were possible without any trouble even made shortly before our arrival

She also made sure we got connected with our “star” of our trip / new best friend of our daughter and son :

Mrs Ebru Sahin

We have to express our deepest gratitude for all of her effort for making this trip more than perfect

Mrs Sahin made litterally made our dreams come true

We always have felt more than welcome at the Burj - but this time it all felt like HOME

She made the impossible possible - in every possible way - reservations / activities / amenities/ birthday celebrations/ the list goes on and on

Also she made sure we were paired with the best staff for us possible

There was not one single complain - and we are not pleased easily !

What is also not to forget and what is for sure to mention is the warm and caring way she took care of us and the effort she put into the smallest details to make this stay unforgettable

Our kids even our daughter who can be picky sometimes took her into her heart in no time

We have to strengthen that the Burj is definitely a welcoming home for children - it is amazing what a warm welcome our kids experienced at our visit

A huge thanks also to Rachel who was also putting so much effort in all the details not only to make our kids happy but also don’t wanna ever leave their “Dubai” home

We will be back in no time !

It was the greatest experience ever !

Ps also the e butler worked splendidly as well all the butlers - thank u Cynthia ! And also housekeeping was amazing !

This place is very impressive especially the architecture. Of course, you cannot escape the opulence on display! I took the INSIDE BURJ AL ARAB tour rather than staying in the hotel and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, photographer cannot bring their cameras on this tour ... only cell phones are allowed. This was rather silly in my opinion. Other than that, the place is great!

We stay at the JBH so have several photos of the Burj from the outside, my partner surprised me with an afternoon high tea, so we got to experience it from the inside!

We got the buggy from the hotel straight to the door, the decor is sublime, very luxurious. We took the lift all the way up to the skyview bar where we were booked in, from the second we entered, the service was exceptional.

The staff were so attentive, explaining everything, how it works, the food etc. Topping up our water and tea too. The food was honestly some of the best I’d ever eaten, each course was explained in detail, and the taste was out of this world.

We opted for the champagne high tea and it added that bit of luxury, we weren’t rushed at all, we spent 2 hours up there and it was fantastic, I’d recommend it to anyone, it was 590 dhs per person with a glass a champagne. We thought it was a great price for what we had.

Thank you Burj Al Arab for a fantastic experience.

The hotel building itself and the suite accomodation are excellent.

Service is patchy, at best. They dont have speciality glassware and the butlers are just glorified waiters. My butler had never heard about a Glencairn glass !!

Some of the staff are genuinely helpful. But some are bored and disinterested to guest requests. Such an iconic hotel desperately needs advise on hospitality from one of the more reputed chains like the Taj, or the ritz or the dorchester group who are operating similar high end properties.

Visit to the Royal suites, with excellent, knowledgeable ushers, the gold cappuccino and the fantastic breakfast by the sea are really top class.

For just a 1 Michelin star restaurant, food is a bit expensive. There has to be some underlying substance to the glitz. The interior decor and paintwork is looking a bit old and faded too.

Overally, a bucket list place to visit...but could deliver a far better guest experience.

A wonderful hotel was exceptional service! If you are not fortunate to stay here, there is a tour offered to experience the inside of the building which is full of information, interactive experiences and photo opportunities. The hotel has a range of shops, restaurants, swimming facilities and much more! Definitely one of, if not THE top hotel in Dubai

We spent a day at the Burj Al Arab hotel after booking a cabana for my husband's birthday. It was very quiet for most of the day (but it was August) it was great to take some time out in the air conditioned room to cool down. The mini fridge with soft drinks was included in the price and part of your fee was redeemable off food and drink. The infinity pool was lovely and the dessert served for my husband’s birthday was a special touch.

The hotel is lovely although one of the oldest hotels it’s has aged well and kept in immaculate condition. Rooms are what you would expect but it’s the attentiveness of the staff which impress. The Al Muntaha restaurant and sky lounge are great places to have a leisurely meal and after drinks . The food is to a high standard and the drink choices are endless. The staff are very polite and attentive and will fix you a drink even if it’s not on the menus. The beach is also a great place to unwind and with the sea breeze it can help keep you cool in the heat. The standard of drinks at the beach bar are just as impressive as in the sky lounge.
Friends of ours visited us for the day, the hotel allowed none residents to use the facilities like any other hotel subject to a reasonable minimum spend. This hotel is a must even if it’s a day visit to the beech, bars and restaurants.
