Very different to any other museum and so interesting. Mostly underground, which helps to preserve the artifacts. Goes on forever and you wonder if you are ever going to find your way out. I got a bit clostrophobic.

A fascinating look at the local culture which is really well worth a visit. Particularly good exhibits on the historical activities particularly pearl fishing in the area.

Went their with the idea of understanding more the local culture from a food perspective. They do propose a brunch with a local that will teach you the "why, what and when" about the UAE around a nice local buffet. A must do.
