About
Despite being shaped like two interlocked hearts, Love Lake isn’t just a spot for couples. This massive lake in Al Qudra Oasis is a great place for some family fun—you can have a picnic or barbecue, camp overnight, wade through the shallow sections of the lake, and enjoy beautiful sunset views. You can even spot wildlife like swans and ducks on the lake, and giant koi fishes in a pond. There are also plenty of installations around the lake for photo ops. Make a trip to Love Lake on a guided day tour, which typically includes pick-ups from Dubai. – Tripadvisor

Love lake in Dubai is a heart shaped man made lake in the desert. Its near to Al Qudra lake at the last exit approx 15 min drive from there. Open 24hrs for visiting or camping with picturesque nature.
There are no retail outlets or food junction to depend on.
Only 1 washroom each near two parking, better unloading self before starting. Sunset is the best timing to visit. Al marmoon reservoir -you will find at the beginning then the board of love lakes will follow, so don't get confuse.

Drive out into the desert to the man made heart shaped lakes, very peaceful away from the city. Gorgeous scenery with walkways around the lakes. We watched the koi carps being fed. We visited in march. Think it would be difficult to spend too long there in the very hot summer months. Great place to take a picnic. No food / cafe facilities.

Anybody who likes being close to nature will love this place.
Positives
Open 24 Hours - good for camping. BBQ allowed; dedicated space for BBQ/camping.
Clean
good for kids
at some places, you can walk on the lake (shallow)
Has jogging track as well
its big and may give you leg pains if you are not used to walking a lot
Others/Negatives
There is only 1 toilet for such a big place. Need more toilets. They were very clean though. It is at the parking
There are 2 routes (from Dubai). "Love Lake Parking" on google maps should take you there. But my recommendation is to take the route that comes via the last exit. So first put "last exit Al Quadra" and then from there you can put "Love lake parking" on your google maps.
Why? 1st you will see multiple lakes on your way through this route and the other reason is that this road is better for people NOT having off-road vehicles (Sedan, Hatchbacks, etc.) The other alternative road, which is the default road shown by google map is a bit rough and risky for people not having off-road vehicles.
Definately worth visiting.
Enjoy!

Reaching the easily approachable Love Lake may require driving the last few kilometres on mud road. So, before undertaking the journey make sure that your vehicle has adequate power and the tyres are good enough to move in sand or slush, depending upon the weather. A small eatery at the Lake runs twenty-four hours on weekends, but serves little more than beverages and fast food. Fish of different colours and sizes can be seen under the surface of clean water in the well-maintained lake. The Lake and the vicinity is home to some beautiful birds. Bring your supplies if you wish to camp overnight, as the prebuilt camps on the property are limited in number. Parking and toilet use is free, and the capacity is adequate. Nature lovers will not return disappointed from the area.

During the National Day Holiday I visited Love Lake which is located in Al Qudra. It is a beautiful man made lake in heart shape. It is open 24 hours for visiting or camping and it is free.
So if you want to get away from city hustle bustle and get close to the nature then you should visit this place.

It Awesome place to visit , something you should not miss this hidden jewel in Dubai . open 24 hours for visiting or camping so do take your barbeque gear ( tents, sleeping bags, torches etc) and head out to this and it is free outdoor activity . There are no lights so don't forget to take torch if you are planning to stay there till late night. There are no shops or eating joints and nearest is Al Qudra's Last Exit satisfy all your food cravings. Facilities are limited, so its best to come prepared beforehand. Toilets are at the entrance only .Dress comfortably and don't wear high heels .

I enjoyed being transported to a different dimension in the midst of the deserts. Too many photo opportunities, lake-vibes, and relaxation. The place is spacious and tidy! It really can relax your mind. The other adjacent place is the Al Qudra lakes which a lot of people camp overnight, it was also a great idea not to go early morning but spend a night before you enjoy the sunset!

You will have to take their word that they are heart-shaped, as you never get high enough to see them whole lake. It’s a nice, playful walk with plenty of birds & Koi to spot all around. The photo-props can be fun as well, though you may tire of hearts before the end! Calm & peaceful away from the city, be prepared to be in the Sun for the whole walk with no refreshment on site. Toilets were poor.

What a beautiful place to spend a few hours outside the centre of Dubai!
We spent a few hours here, switched off from the hustle and bustle of Dubai and enjoyed a relaxing walk around the lakes, it’s so beautiful and somewhere we’d love to return one day, maybe even stay in one of the huts that were being built! 😍

If you want to be away from the city's busy life and your week-long office stress even for just a while, I should probably be recommending the place. One of the tourist spots Dubai has to offer. On your way, you will have a glimpse of the desert, then lakes, lake with flamingos...then comes the love lake. It was almost sunset so the view was just breathtaking. Just a bit far, an hour and few minutes travel from Dubai.
