In the historic district, the Abra Dock in Bur Dubai, is an affordable 10-minute traditonal wooden boat ride -- really a taxi. Take the abra from the Bastakiya side, look around the textile souk and the art galleries, and end in the gold souk. Used by 15-20 million passengers each year, the Abra Dock in Bur Dubai is a memorable cruise in the water.

Lovely Abra ride around the old town of Dubai and away from the huge skyscrapers... Visit the heritage to know more about Dubai’s past...

Such a wonderful experience. This was due to the fact of paying so little (25 american cents) to cross the creek from near to Al Fahidi Cultural District all the way to Gold & Spice souk. This is how people used to commute back in...More

This is the place to meet everyday ordinary working people who use the abra to work, rest and play. Have your 50cents ready as there’s not always change. Locals are very accommodating and helpful

Dubai Abra is the cheapest way to cross the creek. We payed just 1 AED for the crossing. However be aware when you hire a Abra for a trip along the creek. Do haggle for a “ good” price

This place is in Bur Dubai and an excellent place to spend winter evenings. The boat ride there is as cheap as AED 1/- and you get a good view of Dubai creek.

place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to
uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really
began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one
of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily
recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original

These Boats call Abra in Dubai. It's available behind Temple area in Bur Dubai or from Deira ( Another side of Bur Dubai) but not compatible for Wheel Chair. No problem for infant or toddlers.
