IF you are into photography and mosques, this is the place to visit, much like Shaikh Zayed mosque in dubai, but with a more defined architecture and a much more modest finish.

More HOLY you will never get. More calm and beautiful you will also not get. The biggest single carpet in the WORLD. The biggest hanging chandelier in the WORLD. The Grand Mosque is the place to be and just breath in the HOLY air.

Worth the long drive from Dubai! They are a little strict woth their rules, just follow them and you’ll be fine. Even when you inadvertently did something against their rules, someone in uniform will nicely approach you.

The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the
air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders
