Both the area is spectacular and inside it If you went to Isfahan, you should see forty pillars. As an ancient Iranian architecture. Look inside and enjoy the natural surroundings. Architecture is also enjoyable.

Massive old wooden mirrored pillars undergoing restoration and a great selection of military / war / battle paintings inside with detailed histories. Well worth a visit but better with a guide.

The garden is beautiful, green, shady... just what you imagine a Persian garden to be. The frescoes in the palace, showing battles and diplomatic missions, are fabulous. Worth spending at least a couple of hours.
