The sobering history of indiscriminate bombing of Laos, that continues to kill innocent people up to now, is important for anyone hoping to understand the country's struggles. The UXO Centre is a small place, but its impact is very powerful. They have amazing displays of...More

The UXO Lao Visitors Center is a not to be missed, consciousness raising, gem of a small museum. There is a short video along with some exhibits and facts. It is small so doesn’t take a great deal of time but we were so glad...More

No entrance fees per se, but is based on donations. Very informative and insightful. At the end of the exhibition there is a film room where you get to understand the effects of unexploded ordnance on the locals. Worth the visit

After spending time in Luang Prabang and Lao witnessing the love and compassion throughout the generations, the careless and selfish acts of foreign countries are almost incomprehenseable.

A should see when in Laos, although it is not recognized as among Luang Prabang's best tourist attractions. It may be just a little hard to think it is (just ask for directions at the Tourist Information Center) because it is not within the touristy...More

I didn’t know the US dropped many bombs in Laos and they still hurt and kill many people. You should know the real.

I was appalled to view it on the map of ours since the criple center. It was definitively well worth a trip. I knew little about UXO's in Laos and so I discovered it really useful, informing accounts of the victims that had been heart...More
