We found the UXO centre quite interesting. It is essentially a small, two-room museum full of examples of the bombs used in the Vietnam War. It does have excellent signage with information in English. In the second room there is a video which is reasonably...More

Museums like this shouldn't need to exist. This one quietly raises awareness of the ongoing issue of landmines and how lives today are still affected. Try to go if you can.

Came here with almost no knowledge of the UXO problem Laos faces and came away wondering why the world barely knows anything about this. Shocked that it still kills/ injures someone everyday. Its only a small Museum, but will impact you greatly. Worth a visit.

This centre was one of my favourite things in the city, not because it was exciting or glamorous, but because it provided facts and helped it's visitors understand the extent of the ravages of war. The video was particularly good and I was happy to...More

The place is a little challenging to find since locals do not understand what you are talking about. Just search for the huge monument on the President also it is nearby. The location is quite useful but provides a 1 sided view. To be able...More
