One seems to walk right past the Roshnai gate on the way to Badasahi masjid without noticing it. The frescoes are sadly in bad shape.

Roshnai Gate was only gate of Lahore walled cit which can be accessed to river Ravi in time period of Mughal Era. So in night it kept lighted to be shown visible from away. This gate also been used by Royal

This gate is located in between the Badshahi Mosque and the Alamgir Gate and is probably the only gate that is remaining in its original condition in Lahore.
