We stopped on the way back after sunset at Mandalay Hill. Interesting to see the skinny buddha for a change, incl all the other figures around him. Monotony of prayer through loudspeakers gave the place an eery feel.

This is an unusual Buddha to see being really thin and ribby. This is after he stopped eating while fasting (a little like Jesus fasting in the dessert for 40 days). This a modern figure but very interesting to see and very different
