Yes, it was supercheap and no, there was no any Myanmar anthem playing before the movie. All in all, it was an interesting experience in a city that lacks such experiences, especially if you are coming from Bagan. Cinema visitors throw all kinds of garbage...More

Travelers should see this cinema because it is the best cinema in Mandalay. I really recommend it. I really enjoy to go with friends or fiance.

This theater is located on the top floor of a large multilevel shopping center. Apparently the roof of this mall is used for large outdoor concerts, so you walk across this large dimly lit roof area to the theater. The price for the movie compared...More

Unless you are dropped off at the actual entrance, difficult to find at first. It is like going to the movies 20 years ago. Tickets are a dollar. Popcorn and a can of coke was a dollar. The seats were from 20 years ago. Power...More

We went here as needed to buy some clothes and a hat. Had lunch in a cafe at the top with great food, free wifi and quite entertaining camp waiter (that alone was worth it, what a performance!). There is a lot of stuff I...More

I liked the theatre which i felt was better than Yangon, though there are not many good movies coming in but the seating and atmosphere is good if you are true buff cinegoer
