Well worth the drive up. The view from the top was spectacular. Very serene. You can see the whole of Mandalay including the Aye Waddy river.

This place at the top of the hill in Mandalay provides unparalleled panoramic views of the city. The construction itself provides easy access either by electric stairs or conventional stairs. I would recommend the electric stairs to go up and the elevator to come down....More

Unfortunately it was rainy during our visit so we could not see the beauty of Mandalay. I wish to come again someday

Highly recommend this view for sunset - we would recommend taking a taxi up then the elevator! Don’t give money to people to look after your shoes (tourist trap)

The standing Buddha is nice to see at the top but the hill is just ok. I have seen so many temples recently so maybe I am all “templed” out. If you only have a day, go see the white temple to the northeast of...More

Mandalay Hill is worth the cab ride. This might be one of the few handicapped-accessible sites in Myanmar.

We took a taxi to the foot of the hill. There you will find trucks/vans taking you up the hill if you want to avoid the 45min walk. Price 1000K per person. Great view of the area and nice temple complex. Near many other temples...More

Take the 10th St/Mandalay Hill St entrance. Cars can get to the top now, so you will not have any problem with a motor bike. You will still need to park and take the escalator from the top car park to the temple level. Watch... More

A lot. Good hike. Can be very hot and very crowded. Plan accordingly. We climbed in the morning to avoid crowds and heat...but missed sunset views. 😄
