The municipality is not making anything for making this place a normal museum. The objects are wonderful, exposed in the worst way.

Visited but found the pieces poorly exhibited. There is so much history in this region considering the age of Constanta. The statue of Ovid on the town square is worth seeing and I found the walk along the promenade much better than the museum.

The building is stunning, but sadly it is slowly falling apart. Very interesting pieces, including some mammoth teeth and tusk, the snake Glykon, a funerary chamber. Very cool communist era display on the second floor. Entrance is free for children.
