As a London blue badge guide I’ve got a lot of experience of dreary provincial museums that display a load of old tat as somehow significant. This isn’t one of those. This place has some genuinely inspiring stuff. First of all, there’s the terrific Neolithic...More

It is not that large but this Museum houses a significant number of great items. There is no charge to enter this building which was once the town hall.

This museum has a beautiful and instructive collection of artifacts from Romania going back thousands of years. They are well-curated and displayed. The building needs some work. Well worth a visit.

For a moderate entry fee (5-6 euro for museum and mosaic) you get access to really a very beautiful collection of antique pieces. Of course not to be missed the unique statue of Glykon - a god with snake like body - but get to...More

The municipality is not making anything for making this place a normal museum. The objects are wonderful, exposed in the worst way.
