Part of the old Brasov fortification. was closed when we got there but nice views of the city. There are some stairs to/from the city center if you feel like walking.

To get to the platform you have to walk along the historic old wall, which is lovely. Once you climb the stairs you get some amazing views over the old historic district. A must do!

From the parking we used to go throught the bus station to the City Center, but we found another pedestrian way near the old city walls from where you can climb to the White Tower. Close to the Black Tower.

We visited this defensive tower when we walked around the the old city walls. There is no access into the building and those steps are pretty dodgy but well worth a visit. I really do recommend the walk around the city walls.

This "White Tower" affords amazing views of Brașov. It's best to come in late afternoon or at sunrise. If you choose the latter like I did, it will be eerily quiet (because the interior is open only Tues-Sun at 10:00-17:00) but still perfectly safe so...More

One can walk there from the town square and is a well maintained gate/tower that was used in medieval times. Walking around its base and a short climb is good exercise and calming.

The White Tower from Brasov it’s one of the most beautiful places i’ve ever seen. I stayed with beautiful memories and also with great pictures. The White Tower has a museum with various exhibitions and weapons. Even if climb to the tower may be demanding...More
