Recently renovated synagogue, just a 5 mins walk from the center of Sibiu. There is an office just behind the synagogue that will be very happy to give you a tour. Nice architecture, great acustics.

I attend with friends from other countries visiting the synagogue and discussing the lives of the Jews who are still in Sibiu concluding that they must be supported so that their work can be carried out

We visited this place and discovered that you have to go to the back of the building to get the caretaker to let you in. This building has not been used for many years but the local Jewish community that number on 20 people. This...More

Close to everything...the building is really beautiful from the outside it was closed when we arrived. Sad that there is no active community there.

This is a very beautiful and well preserved synagogue. It's better to visit the synagogue between 9.00 to 12.00 (There's an office in the backyard). Highly recommended if you are interested in Jewish history - 4 LEI. Only 5 min walk from Piata Mare (old...More

I found this old building by luck,when I was going to train station.It has an interesting architecture at the outside.I didn't visit the interior,it was closed.Placed close to train station.
