Very old, quite unusual Armenian church! It’s in the city center, so you can easily find it. It’s on reconstruction, there are many guides speaking different languages, so you can sit there for a wile and listen for free.

Armenian Cathedral is the first stop to show the history and the architectureb of Lviv. There is unique combination of medieval architecture, frescos by famous Rosen and rich Armenian heritage in Lviv

I love this church. It may not have the ornate furnishings of other Ukrainian orthodox churches but the ambience is stunning. The outside Rennaisssance cloisters/courtyard are being rennovated. Note the flagstones are actually some of the gravestones from the relocated cemetry. Marvel at the frescoes...More

Quiet space, very different from other churches on this Easter Sunday. Very different interior art from the Baroque Catholic and other churches around. I didn’t pay to take photos as no one was checking :)

Not much striking from the outside (you can pass the church without noticing it) but full of beauty inside. This little church has a splendidly decorated ceiling and the walls have wonderful colourful paintings, especially the ones on the left when you enter. Entrance is...More

I think this is one of the very rare Armenian churches which combines both Armenian Catholics and Apostolic Armenians under the same roof. During our visit it was under restoration and we could hardly seen the interior details. But if you look at from outside...More

This church is by far the most outstanding in the city and quite different from the others. You should see it and simply admire all the paintings in the main hall. Very sacred place and easy to reach. You can access it from the main...More

Very interesting to see, loved the similarities with the architecture of a mosque. Painting on the left was also very nice.
