We were fortunate to witness a couple getting married in this beautiful church. There is a peace in this church even though there’s scaffolding inside. To go underground, exit the church, turn right and right again. There’s a small door that is easily missed. It’s...More

Gorgeous cathedral with breathtaking history. Built a long time ago by Jesuits (The Treasure of Nation with Nicolas Cage flashback), its interior was destroyed during the first and second world wars, and lately it was turned into the city archive by the Soviet government. Not...More

Lots of impressive carved gold and wood sculptures. Unfortunately scaffolding inside but still possible to get good photos. Served as a book repository during Soviet times.

This is an interesting church with old paintings, architecture structure is unique and the paintings are historically well preserved depicting Christ and John the Baptist.

The church is very nice in itself but the undergrounds are the best place to visit. A lot of history of Lviv to learn there. Highly recommended :)

Formerly known as Church of the Jesuits, this one has pretty entertaining undergrounds. The church is really beautiful also.

This church is in need of restoration but is nevertheless a very beautiful church indeed. Great frescoes. I guess with so many churches, cathedrals and monasteries there is a limit to resources.

An inspiring place to be. With a charming atmosphere - not like in any other church. Here you can freely walk and feel comfortable. Here many concerts take place and priests are pretty cool and modern!
