We went in January, which was nice because there weren’t a lot of tourists. The upper lakes were closed though, which was disappointing but the parts that were open were breathtaking. Definitely recommend checking this out if you’re nearby!

we spent two half days in the park, arrived day one at 4pm until 6:30 and arrived at 10am the next day until 2pm. Better than spending a full day. Buy 2 day ticket if you have the time.
