If you are staying self catering it would be much cheaper to make this your first port of call and shop for the week. Prices much much lower than in the supermarkets or in the tourist areas

Really nice market, indoors downstairs large fish and meat market. Big range of freshly caught fish. Upstairs bars and bakeries, very quaint and quirky. Outside there is a brilliant fruit and vegetable market. Lots of stalls to choose from and also plenty of olive oils...More

Inside the building there a number of good fish and meat stalls. Outside mainly catering for the tourist trade. Upstairs there are a number of restaurants and cooked food stalls.

It's a small farmers market that also caters to tourists. So aside from fruit and vegetables you'll also find local olive oil, local drinks and products with truffles. Lovely place to stroll around for a bit and watch the locals go about.

Good food, nice people in the stands, lots of variety. My mother is vegetarian so we needed some fresh vegies. we all appreciated it and loved the cheeses and fruit as well as the excellent yogurt.
