I am not sure what the references in other reviews about Kotor and Sibenik are about, for this fortress is most definitely in Dubrovnik, although these other places may well have fortresses by the same name! This one forms part of the famed city walls,...More

It is beautiful in the daytime, but really stunning when lit up at night. Amazing to see and if you're a Game of Thrones fan - say no more..

Really neat fortress, super cheap admission (3€/pp). Awesome place to get stunning shots of the city, be sure to bring a sweat towel and comfortable walking shoes as it's a good workout. Give yourself enough time to enjoy it leisurely and take lots of photo...More
