We visited this venue as a part of the Dubrovnic card. The venue has potential but this small exhibition is woefully uninspiring. The eponymous character was clearly a very interesting character but the displays somehow managed to make the least of his achievements.

The Museum is located in Siroka ulica (Siroka street is about three times as wide as the standard street. Siroka means wide, ulica street). As I am a huge history fan, when I travel I always want to soak in as much history, culture and...More

As passing through this statue was wondering why his nose was so shiny and large. Seems like if you touch his nose you get good luck or something like that. Not impressed by the museum.

This is not the easiest of places to find, but is worth the effort. Like others I had not heard of Marin Drzic until I came across this house, but I certainly knew a lot more about him by the time I left! He is...More

This museum is included in the Museums of Dubrovnik Pass so we decided to stop in. It was a rainy day and there wasn’t much else to do in town. Marin Drzic was a playwright lived over 500 years ago, and the museum contains a...More

I didn't realize this was in front of his home or I would have popped in as I had the Dubrovnik card. I passed by the statue twice and obviously people think that rubbing his nose and/or knees is good luck as they are all...More

One star or five stars? One star because it is a worthy winner of the title "worst museum I have ever visited" or five stars, as it is so comically bad that the visit proves rather entertaining. Information is presented in an opaque, jumbled manner...More

We stumbled across this gem on our way back to the hotel one evening after dinner and were delighted to find it was open until 10pm and was free on our 3 day Dubrovnik card. We must have happened upon the lady in charge on...More

I have visited the home of Marin Drzic since it was included in my 1day Dubrovnik card. It was disappointing. There is nothing to see connected with Marin Drzic. There were exposed some glass made sculptures, which were interesting so this place can be transformed...More
