The first hour was spent with Tony our guide who gave an interesting tour covering the history of Split. Then onto the wine bar to taste four local wines with snacks. Good value, a great way to spend the early evening.

So we did this tour on a hot day, escaped the crowds, had some amazing finger food and tried three different wines. Staff was friendly, wines were great, we ended up with buying one of the bottles.

Great wine presentation and even more entertaining and knowledgeable sommelier Ivan. In the resturant, we were served with finger food which were excellently matched with wine flavour. If you are traveling on a budget or not, recommendable experience!

Only three wines, well matched with small portions of meats and cheese, and expertly presented by Tony. All three wines (one crisp white, a true Croatian Zinfandel and a full-bodied Dingac) were superb. Highly recommended - a lovely lunchtime sojourn.

My husband and I went to this wine tasting at Diocletian's Wine House, and had the best time. We didn't realise Croatian wines were so amazing. The staff was very helpful and the place is really fascinating, right in the middle of The Old Town.
