Not great and more expensive than others with the English manual. Basic, things were smuggled. Guns, drugs, cigarrettes. That’s about it. In 3 small rooms. Don’t waste your time.

Only a few rooms, but the information and impressions are huge. The guide simply talks without stop for about 40 minutes.

The cost of admission plus the printed English guide are pretty high for what it is. While the guide contains some interesting anecdotes about smuggling history, it doesn't really correspond to the exhibits, which seems to be just illistrations of how people smuggle things.

Compared to the 10-20 Hryvnia charge at every other museum we visited in Ukraine, the 70 Hryvnia to get into the Museum of Smuggling seemed incredibly excessive. On top of this, they pride themselves on being an "informative" museum, which is all well and good,...More

We decided to visit this museum absolutely randomly, without prebooking, just bought a tickets inside right before our excursion. The ticket price is 70 hryvnia and we didn't regret to spend this money for such a cool place!

When I was at the entrance of the museum, I kindly asked the personnel if I could visit the museum and only take photographs. I also added that it wouldn't be a problem for me if all the descriptions were in Russian. Then she told...More
