This is a great Street in Antigua, that they refer to as 5th Avenue. The history behind this sight was very interesting as well. I a great Street to visit.

The Golden Arches of Antigua are a must see. You get an excellent view (and pictures) of the volcano through them. Around the arches, are markets, shops, restaurants and other sights like churches.

When you google "Antigua, Guatemala", you will likely see this arch with the Volcano in the background. I recommend that you visit early morning for the best chance to get some photos before the streets fill up with locals and tourists getting in your shots.

You can’t miss this famous arch in Antigua. It is as if the arch is synonymous with an arrival into the World Heritage City.

El arco is one of the most iconic places in Antigua. Looking at the arch is beautiful and you feel it transports you back in time. The beautiful yellow color up against the historic backdrop is amazing. I plan on visiting this place again when...More

This is simply an archway across a busy street in Antigua. Nice to see and take photos but nothing spectacular

Other than getting a photo of an icon of Antigua there is not much to do here. However, there are several small shops and restaurants so after you get your photo see the shops ... jade, traditional handcrafts, etc.

The arch was right outside our hotel so a perfect place to take photos and a classic spot in Antiqua. The bridge was used for the nuns to walk back & forth without having to go into the outside world. The street is very busy...More

The arch is probably the number one land mark in Antiqua since it is used to frame the Volcan de Agua that dominates the skyline of the city. Many opportunities along the street to get a shot but only early in the morning for one...More
