We have been visiting Antigua, Guatemala for 10 years now and never fail to spend time in Central Park while we are there. At the center of town, it is the perfect place to sit with a cup of coffee from Cafe Barista and people...More

Great cool location to watch the world go by. The street vendors are charming and not pushy, selling jewellery which we found to be remarkable value. We were there for a Friday evening, a local band was playing and it was just a perfect evening

If you love people watching this is the place to go. You get to see locals hanging out, turists doing their thing, street vendors with all sort of different tipical and non tipical stuff to sell, kids, drunks, packpackers, beggars, and just about any other...More

An enjoying evening watching people gathering around. Relaxed atmosphere. A lot of local people trying tot sell their stuf, but not to much of a push.

A good central meeting point as well as an opportunity to sample the hustle and bustle of Antiguan life. Wander amongst the handicraft and souvenir shops as be prepared for non-stop approaches by street sellers.

It's really nice! They have maintained it well and makes it easy to find your way around. It's a nice communal area to just observe people.

Always so pleasant to walk by the plaza and mentally travel back a few hundred years. Mingle with the locals and visitors from numerous countries.

Good spot to people watch and chill. Central as you’d imagine to get everywhere. Just watch your purse/phone/camera and deal with the hawkers... DEFinately Central to being ‘sold to’ But still, sit down and watch the locals enjoy their beautiful town

You'll find that most places in Central America will take U.S. currency but you will most likely get a better conversion rate if you have the countries local currency ( Guatemala Quetzal)
