Nice clean market in Antigua. Adjacent to a street market that feels more authentic, but definitely not as pleasant. This market feels safe, clean and has clean bathrooms for 2Q. I would definitely go back

You can find the merchandise in any corner of the city for a better price and closer, too. The market is far by the bus station.

Same stuff as you see at the Guatemala City airport on your departure, just more of it and cheaper prices. Always haggle, as the opening price is always 2-3 times more than what they’ll end up taking (necklace started at 35Qtzl we got for 10Qtzl)....More

not what I expected - very touristy stuff all the same in each stall so not likely artisanal. better to check out the textile museum or Casa De Los Gigantes

We enjoyed a short walk around this market. It's selling all sorts of souvenirs for tourists. It's not a market for locals. It's a good place to grab some bargains and presents if needed, however I wouldn't make a special trip here if you don't...More

The market is large but, like most open air markets, has a lot of repeat products, so make sure to look around first. Most vendors were aggressive and hollering at us in English. Lots of vendors also weren't interested in making a deal.

Like a lot of street markets, it has a lot of stuff you don't need. But if you are visiting you will want to take a souvenir home and there are plenty here. You will find cheaper but that is all relative as everything is...More

This market is a lot larger than it appears. There's an outside covered portion but more stalls deeper inside. The merchants have everything you can imagine and it's best to negotiate pricing. I ended up purchasing a top but may head back for some other...More

This market is a great place to shop for locally made gifts. However, you need to be prepared to negotiate the price for items, the first price they quote you is usually not the best price. What I would recommend is not to buy right...More

Loved this market! There are so many offerings and so so many little shops. They will harass you to buy so I said no, no and the drop the prices. Everything you can think of can be found here
