Whatever problems there were with the lighting and aircon seem to be fixed now. An amazing array of artefacts labelled in English so easy to understand. Incredible finds ranging from Neolithic through to about 17th century over three floors.

It’s a very dark place - with poor lighting which makes it difficult to read the descriptions on the exhibits. It’s also very hot inside with little or no air conditioning.

There are some very good exhibits here. My two criticism would be that 1. the lighting in many of the exhibits has either been turned off or is burnt out - so take a torch app on your phone to be able to see the...More

We enjoyed a 75 minutes captivating guided walk through this neatly organized museum that took us from the Stone age to the end of the Ottoman empire in the early 20th century. Displays are generally attractively presented, well lit, with texts in Macedonian and English....More

Your hotel desk clerk should be able to ascertain the hours at this time of year. I think they were 10-6 this summer. They may also have an English language website that you can check.
