This historic church is definitely worth the visit. It is open all day and is a wonderful place to spend time in prayer and admire the interior beauty. It should be designated an historic land mark or even a minor basilica!

Saint Mary's Church is deceptively stunning. It's red brick exterior hides its vibrant colorful interior. The church sits on a hill, with its steeple and cross visible from almost all of historic Annapolis. The church is just part of a campus that encompasses a couple of blocks. There is also a school, hall and rectory. When one enters the main... More

This Catholic Church looks like it was touched by the hand of God. It has a painted ceiling with beautiful beams and a stary night painted throughout. The depiction of the crucifixion of Jesus is created in painted marble windows throughout the church. The stained glass windows were stunning, they are the most beautiful I have ever seen and the... Beautiful, traditional church. Great location with a large selection of masses to attend. This church reminds me of my childhood parish in NY.

This is a gorgeous church beautiful statues and marble. The Pastor had our Mass. He had a very good homily holding everyone's attention. He was very friendly to us out of towners.

This church is beautiful inside. It is conveniently located to downtown Annapolis with plenty of parking behind the church. We attended a wedding there that was stunning.

Geniune people. Smiling, helpful, reverent. Beautiful place to worship. Wonderful priests. Love the occasional squeak of old wooden pews. Look for the star. Afterwards, exit through the garden. You'll be glad.

We attended mass here while in Annapolis. Even if you are not Catholic, you should stop in to see this gorgeous church. The beauty will take your breath away! This church is in walking distance to most of the historic area's restaurants and stores.

When you are strolling through Annapolis and are down near the docks, take a few steps up Duke of Gloucester Street to historic St. Mary's Church and walk in for a peek. It is a stunning Catholic Church, and welcoming every time we return to Annapolis for a visit. Make sure to look up at the star-painted ceiling. Stunning.
