This museum is easy to miss when walking from downtown Annapolis to the dock, I am so glad I turned around and saw it. The staff was friendly and the facility was outfitted with lots of gifts. The museum itself is quite small and does not possess lots of exhibits but the few present were educational.

It was nice to walk all over the downtown area. A few of the old historical homes were open for tours as was the capital building. We parked close to the Naval Academy. There are plenty of restaurants and ice cream shops. It was a nice day trip.

Site of the US capital for a time prior to Washington DC becoming our capital. Beautiful buildings and homes - over 350 historic buildings. A very easy city to cover on foot.

What an experience!! Annapolis is quaint, historic, visually appealing and chock full of shopping and dining venues. The harbor is central gathering locale with interesting streets stretching out in all directions. Never boring or without something interesting to see, taste or buy. The proximity of Naval Academy and vintage State Capitol all work to make this I d of most... More

Love the old homes, cobblestone streets, alleys. Quite picturesque. Quaint shops. Bring coins or credit card to feed parking meters. Appears culturally diverse with lots of dining options, boutique stores.

The atmosphere is fun, friendly, quaint and easy. Park your car and walk. The area is too small to drive but easy to walk. I walked to restaurants, hair appointments, tours, etc. Only took the car out once to go to the movies in a distant location.

This was such a nice little area of the town. I loved the architecture and surroundings here, the greenery and even cherry blossoms were in bloom. Beautiful place. Definitely a must-see if you are in the area.

Such a beautiful little town! A trip well worth the drive from Baltimore or D.C. Historic town with cute little shops, good restaurants and beautiful surroundings. Make sure you visit St. John's College and the U.S. Naval Academy, both of which are worth visiting. Make sure you go to all of the government buildings. Small town with lots of history... More

Downtown Annapolis shares much with other tourist hot spots -- shops ranging from fine art to trashy trinkets, lots of eating options ranging from excellent food to junk food -- with a cross-section of the American population crowding the sidewalks.
