Christmas in Annapolis is beautiful! Strolling along the streets looking at the decorations at the historic sights is wonderful. Local garden clubs decorate some of the historic buildings. The US Naval Academy is a tour to go on too.

The main streets with their centuries old character and charm make for a nice walk. There lots of shops and places to eat and drink. The sidewalks are fairly narrow and in busy seasons could be hard to navigate.

This is a great walking town with lots of history to take in. They have taken a lot of pride in preserving the buildings and not letting it get too commercial. You can spend several hours just walking around and seeing the sights and shopping.

Allow the best part of a day to see the town. Start at the visitor center on Northwest street for maps and advice from the helpful staff. There’s a parking garage there and the town is very walkable.

There are curb cuts in many places and ramps on some buildings. I'm sure all the government buildings are ADA compliant. Easy enough to get around outside and restaurants are hit and miss regarding accessibility. Call if you... More
