We visited Annapolis for the first time. It was an enjoyable visit with many places to visit. The water front was picturesque. Many shops and places to eat. Also toured the Naval Academy. We would visit the town again.

The historic district is so compact it's easy to tour on foot, browsing the shops and stopping for a drink or meal right at the water. Brick streets and sidewalks, historic houses built right on the sidewalks give a sense of living history. Weekends are...More

Great chance to see and learn some of Annapolis’s history and take in some shopping for tea and spices and oils, etc.

My husband and I recently spent a half day in Annapolis and were pleasantly surprised. Although driving into the historic district and finding parking on a Sunday morning, was a bit of a challenge, it was certainly worth the trip. We started by wandering around...More

I love the cute restaurants and views in this area. We stayed in hotel and walked to everything (rented a car, but really should have called Uber for drive to and from airport.

Love the quaint shops, even in the rain, and the friendly shopkeepers. Also enjoyed seeing the boats in the harbor, and the learning more about deep history of the district

Meandering along these historic streets is a special experience. The Naval Academy and State House are the "big" attractions, but the quaint homes, shops and restaurants are treasures as well. And of course the docks and multitude of magnificent boats, large and larger, are the...More

I believe most stores are open a little bit later than normal. We were downtown in the evening and some appeared to still be open. Also, a number of the stores were open on Sunday.
