After years of driving by here, we finally stopped by. We were surprised by all of the tributes and information. Quite inspirational. It’s also a very beautiful location with great views.

It was a spur of the moment to visit the memorial. We were so surprised at how awe inspiring it was. The great effort taken to tell the story of WWII is amazing and should be seen to remember and taught to our future generations....More

Come and pay homage at a beautiful location- it is on the way and plenty of parking. Bring a camera.

Take time out to remember our loved ones. Looking at all the names makes you think about how many died so we could be free. Sad but beautiful.

I drove by the Maryland WWII Memorial several times before I decided to stop. It’s very easy to find due to well placed signs that direct you to its location. The parking lot is small, but it is enough to accommodate the typical number of...More

This memorial is a perfect place to ride bikes to, next to the GOLD Star family memorial. The ride is over the Naval Academy bridge and has great views back onto the Naval Academy as well as visiting both memorials.

This memorial seemed easy to get to. I was not driving but could easily see the signs. There is a wonderful view overlooking the harbor from this peaceful memorial. Just drive to the top of the hill right behind the memorial and there is parking.

This memorial is well done and tells the story of our World War II heroes. And the view is outstanding. It is a great place to reflect and pray for our country.

I was impressed with the layout and thought that went into this memorial. In many ways it feels like a "personalized" version of the large WWII memorial for US WWII vets in DC. The rock work is beautiful and the personalization (names of all the...More

As stated above, this is a monument area with a wonderful view, but no museum, The WWII Museum in New Orleans is a good suggestion- you can probably contact them on-line and ask about donating your dad's "stuff".
