Really enjoyed the park - huge, deep sites, most with palmettos and trees to separate them and give them privacy. Very nice bathrooms. Park was clean and well maintained.

Brought the camper out for a test visit. Enjoyed the quietness of the campground and the fishing ponds. Did not catch a keeper, but the time drowning worms was relaxing. Only negative is two night minimum on weekends and not full hooks ups.

Spending 3 months on the road, we found Palmetto State park to be one of our favorites. We saw plenty of wild life including alligators and deer. Lots of places to walk the dog. We kept extending our stay day by day. RV friendly
